很久很久以前，人世间鬼怪横行，魑魅魍魉泛滥成灾。当时出现了一个最强的役小角，他降服了拥有强大实力的鬼神为自己所用，以铲除为非作歹的鬼怪。在役小角临死之际，他将鬼神封印，人世间绝少听闻鬼神的消息。时间来到了现代，役小角的后代小明（横山智佐饰）在命运的驱使下解开封印，可是高傲的前鬼根本不服从小明的役使，于是这个女孩只得将其变成童子的模样。与此同时，凭依兽大量出现，而许多可怕的敌人交替登场。人世间再度为难，小明能否继承祖先的遗志，和前鬼共同击退各路邪祟呢？ 本片根据谷菊秀（原作）、黒岩よしひろ（作画）创作的漫画《鬼神童子ZENKI》改编。。靠捡垃圾为生的王小明爱上盲人卖花女迷笛，误认为王小明是富豪的迷笛多次得到王小明的帮助并最终治好了眼睛开了花店，王小明也因为帮助迷笛狼狈不堪离开了迷笛，后来，迷笛终于找到了王小明，两个人幸福的在一起了。。Ilija is a member of the Croatian Defence Council (HVO) somewhere in Central Bosnia in late 1993.
