电影《北纬25°天空下》以改革开放40周年和自治区成立60周年为大背景，讲述发生在兴安这座小城，关于青春成长的故事。。北泽尚（户田惠梨香饰）是一名医生，在和同为医生的男友井原侑市（松冈昌宏饰）恋爱数月后终于订婚准备携手步入婚姻的殿堂。在搬家的过程中，北泽尚结识了名为间宫真司（室毅饰）的搬家公司工人。真司曾是一名小有名气的小说家，却半途放弃了小说事业，巧合的是，北泽尚曾经是真司的粉丝。 这命运般的邂逅让北泽尚渐渐发现，自己所拥有的竟然全都不是自己想要的。她毅然决然的取消了和男友的婚约，转而热烈的追求和自己地位相去甚远的真司。与此同时，北泽尚被确诊患有阿兹海默症，这也意味着，留给她和真司的时间越来越少了。。Ruth & Alex is set over a weekend where a couple (Morgan Freeman and Diane Keaton) must decide whether or not to sell their Brooklyn walk up of 40 years.
