1942年，高小铁的爹为了掩护村民被日本侵略者杀害。要为亲人报仇的高小铁屡次遭到大家的阻拦，对于躲藏在地道里也是一种战术更加无法理解。高小铁在武工队队长马玉海的教导下，逐渐明白论持久战的重要意义，明白了“轰轰烈烈的对战是英雄，不让鬼子安生也是英雄”。高小铁与臭娃、妞妞以及小狗来福几个小伙伴一起发挥聪明才智，协助武工队及民兵们利用地道打败了山本为首的鬼子取得了胜利。高小铁和小伙伴们也在事件中得到成长。。The story follows Noree, the granddaughter of the city's number one matchmaker, Grandma Thaep, who has to find a partner for Khun Rit, aka Phra Ritthirongranyuth, the head of the police department.
