初夏的早晨，江南田野，一个天真活泼的牧童骑着水牛去放牛。牧童做了一个梦，牛忽然失踪了。原来牛被飞流千尺的瀑布所吸引。牧童唤牛，牛不动。牧童从风竹发出的声响有所领悟，削竹为笛，吹奏出悠扬悦耳的乐曲。水牛被笛声吸引回牧童身边。牧童骑上牛背，踏着暮色的田埂，悠然归去。。A reclusive scientist builds a robot that looks exactly like him to go on a long-term space mission. Since the scientist seems to lack all emotions, he is unable to program them into his automaton, and an eccentric woman is hired to "educate" the robot on human behavior. In the end, she falls in love... but is the robot or the Dr. Mr. Right?。
